Glenn Cunningham, CPA
Founder & President
Glenn Cunningham is Cunningham & Associates’ founder and President. Glenn specializes in providing tax and advisory services to businesses. He founded Cunningham & Associates in 1992. Prior to founding Cunningham & Associates, Glenn served nine years with the Cleveland office of Price Waterhouse, specializing in tax and business consulting services for middle market clients. Glenn earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The University of Akron. His professional and other affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (member), Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (member), Voss Aerospace, Cleveland (Director), American Roll Formed Products, Painesville (Director and Chairman of the Board), Bellevue United Selective Fund (Trustee), Kraak Charitable Foundation (Trustee), Robert Birr Scholarship Foundation (Trustee).
Susette Even, CPA
CFO
Susette Even, CPA is a manager for Cunningham & Associates. She joined the firm in 1998 and her areas of expertise include accounting, audit, financial reporting, and QuickBooks. She assists business clients with their daily functions and helps them gather financial data and information to make management decisions through budgeting and forecasting. She also acts as a part-time controller for small businesses. Susette graduated from Wittenberg University in 1987. Before joining the firm, she worked at Price Waterhouse for four years and was a controller for multiple businesses in the telecom and manufacturing industries. She is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.
Dennis Vezzani, CPA
Director Emeritus
Dennis joined Cunningham & Associates in August 1999 as a Director. His areas of expertise are accounting, auditing and taxation for privately-held businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals. Dennis also has experience in the auditing and reporting requirements of Taft Hartley Funds and other employee benefit plan requirements. Prior to joining Cunningham & Associates, Dennis spent nineteen years as a partner with Rothschild, Meckler & Co. servicing both corporate and individual clients. Dennis also worked seven years as an audit manager for KPMG LLP where he spent considerable time auditing United Way agencies and other non-profit organizations. Dennis earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The University of Akron. Dennis' professional and other affiliations include American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (member), Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (member), Stow-Munroe Falls Chamber of Commerce (Past Trustee and Member), and Stow Jaycees and Holy Family Parish Parents Club (Past Treasurer).
Jim Davis, CPA
Manager
Jim joined Cunningham and Associates as a Manager in October of 2007. Prior to joining the firm, Jim was the chief financial officer of the law firm of Duvin, Cahn & Hutton. Among his many responsibilities, were employee benefits, cash management, and investments. Jim earmed a Bachelor of Business Administration from The Ohio State University. His professional affiliations include the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Jim is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the Jewish Community Center of Cleveland.
Marianne Nagy, CPA
Assurance Services Manager
Marianne works for our Accounting and Audit Practice. Marianne joined Cunningham & Associates in 2011 and her areas of concentration are accounting, auditing, healthcare, not-for-profit, and employee benefit plans. She also has experience with internal control audits and reporting. Prior to joining the firm, Marianne served nine years with KPMG LLP in the Cleveland and Nashville offices. Marianne earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. Marianne’s professional and other affiliations include American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (member), Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (member), and Stow Woods Homeowners’ Association (treasurer).
Sonali Asati, CPA, CMA
Tax Manager
Sonali Asati, CPA, CMA, brings over fourteen years of extensive experience in public accounting to her role as Manager at Cunningham & Associates, where she joined in March 2023. Prior to joining the firm, Sonali served as a Tax Manager at KWC, a CPA firm based in Virginia. Her career began at Deloitte in Audit before relocating to the USA in 2011. Specializing in business and individual taxation, Sonali focuses on high-net worth individuals and closely held businesses. Beyond ensuring compliance with intricate tax laws, she excels in financial analysis and income tax planning. Sonali holds certifications as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and Chartered Accountant (India). She is an active member of professional organizations including the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Outside of her professional endeavors, Sonali resides on Lake Norman with her husband and their two children. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
Rose Sartor
Staff Accountant
Rose is a staff accountant located in the Bellevue, Ohio office. Rose has been with Cunningham & Associates since it was founded in 1992 and employed by the previous owner, Leon W. Maginnis, since 1978. Rose’s responsibilities include general accounting and bookkeeping services, financial statement preparation, payroll services, and tax services. Rose Marie is a notary public and also serves as a Trustee for the Bellevue United Selective Fund.
Christie Watson
Staff Accountant
Christie is a staff accountant based primarily in our Broadview Heights office. Christie joined Cunningham & Associates in July 2006 when Cunningham & Associates purchased Collins Company, an accounting firm in Wadsworth, Ohio, where she had previously worked since 1998. Christie works closely with our clients in regards to general accounting and bookkeeping services, tax services, and payroll services.
Nina Ovnic
Senior Associate
Nina graduated from Miami University in 2018 with a degree in Accounting and has since built a strong foundation in auditing and assurance services. At Cunningham & Associates, Nina specializes in auditing, while also providing valuable QuickBooks assistance. Prior to this role, she spent 4 years at Deloitte in their audit department, gaining extensive experience across various industries including manufacturing, entertainment, consumer products, agriculture, and aviation.
Alex Arnott
Staff Associate
Alex graduated from Wheeling Jesuit University in 2020 with dual degrees in Accounting and Business Administration, focusing on Finance. Recently passing all four CPA exams, she is on track to apply for her CPA license in the fall of 2024. At Cunningham & Associates, she brings over three and a half years of experience working across both the assurance and tax departments. Alex’s responsibilities include auditing, financial statement preparation, bookkeeping, and preparing business and individual tax returns. Originally from Chester, West Virginia, known for the world’s largest teapot, she brings a blend of small-town values and professional rigor to her work.
Kathy Muir
Staff Associate
Kathy is a seasoned Accounting Professional with 40 years of expertise. Graduating with a B.S. in Business Administration from CSU, with over 15 years at Ernst & Young, starting in payroll and advancing to tax services, Kathy gained a deep understanding of corporate financial management. Transitioning to Skoda, a regional firm, she specialized in supporting small to medium-sized businesses with comprehensive accounting, payroll, tax, and sales tax services. Kathy’s experience extends to working with unions and includes QuickBooks certification, enabling her to provide training and support to both clients and staff.
Brock Meyer
Staff Associate
Brock hails from Bellevue, Ohio. He is a proud graduate of Bowling Green State University, where he earned dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Accounting and Finance. His professional focus centers on tax services, encompassing individuals, businesses, nonprofits, and trusts.
Kyle Kennedy, CFP
Director of Wealth Management
As Director of Wealth Management, Kyle excels in providing comprehensive financial planning, investment management, and strategic tax advice to clients, dedicated to helping them achieve their financial and life objectives. He holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation and has completed the first two levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program. Before joining Cunningham Wealth Management, Kyle served as a financial planner at a prominent wealth management firm in McLean, VA. His career includes significant leadership experience, having previously held a CEO role in Ireland, his native country. Kyle graduated Magna Cum Laude from Winthrop University, where he earned a BSBA in Finance with a minor in Spanish. He was honored with The Financial Planning award by the College of Business. Prior to his career in finance, Kyle was a standout athlete, serving as a 4-year starter on Winthrop’s soccer team. Outside of work, Kyle enjoys staying active, socializing with friends, and embracing the favorable Carolina weather.
Daniel Cunningham, CFP
Associate Director of Wealth Management
Daniel joined Cunningham Wealth Management and Cunningham & Associates in August 2020, after completing a summer internship with both firms in 2019. As Associate Director of Wealth Management, Daniel oversees financial planning, investment management, and tax advisory services for the firm’s clients. He also plays a pivotal role in the tax, accounting, and assurance functions, ensuring that client needs are met promptly and effectively. Daniel graduated from Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Finance and minoring in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and holds licenses including FINRA Series 65 and Life & Health Insurance in North Carolina. Daniel is an active member of the Charlotte Rotary Club Leadership Impact Group and the Charlotte Chapter of the Ohio State Alumni Club.
Shannon Morris
Director of Client Success & Marketing
Shannon graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a minor in Journalism. She kickstarted her career with Westin Hotels and Resorts in Charlotte, NC, where her passion for people and travel thrived in event coordination. In 2021, Shannon embraced a new opportunity at JLPollackCPA, a tax-advisory firm in Ballantyne, as their Sales and Marketing Coordinator. During her tenure, she immersed herself in the CPA world and played a key role in the firm's substantial growth and enhanced local reputation. Shannon is eager to bring her expertise and drive to Cunningham & Associates and Cunningham Wealth Management, aiming to replicate her success there. Outside of work, her leisure time is filled with adventures, including paddleboarding at the Whitewater Center, hiking, attending concerts, or enjoying moments with her puppy Lego.
Sue Lucician
Office Manager
Suzanne Lucician is the Office Manager and an Administrative Assistant located in the Broadview Heights, Ohio office. Sue joined the firm in October 2000 and is responsible for the firm’s human resources, internal bookkeeping, and assisting management, staff, and clients. She has over 30 years of work experience with CPA firms, having previously worked for Hausser & Taylor, LLP/American Express Tax & Business Services, Rothschild Meckler & Co. CPA’s in Beachwood, Ohio and Clark, Schaefer, Hackett & Co., CPA’s in Columbus, Ohio.
Courtney Moore
Office Manager
A graduate of Nordonia Hills High School in Macedonia, OH, Courtney brings over 11 years of experience from her father's insurance agency, where she served as an Agent and Office Manager. As a dedicated single mom, she is proud to support her daughter's journey as she prepares to attend BGSU Firelands in the fall of 2024. Courtney finds joy in various hobbies, including reading, crocheting, and actively participating in softball as both a player and scorekeeper. She is also actively involved in her community, where she finds fulfillment in giving back and making a difference.
